Boca Raton City Council Member Working To Lift Local Prohibition
Law To Be Revealed Soon

Patients in Boca Raton, Florida have been living in a medical cannabis desert since 2014. That's not to say that there is not some excellent local Florida Kush floating around in Boca West.
The problem is that there are no cannabis retailers in Boca Raton due to the City banning weed businesses in 2014. Local patients either have to brave the Florida roads (have you seen how many broken down cars there are there?); Or, people acquire weed on the unregulated market.
As the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported, "Thomson said city residents should not have to travel to find medical marijuana, especially since they are already sick. He said his mother has lived with multiple sclerosis for more than 30 years and wonders how her life could have been improved if marijuana were legal years ago. 'I can’t help but think life would have been different for her,' Thomson said.".
Andy Thomson must have a lot of registered medical marijuana patients living in Boca Raton based on there being a whopping 400,000 patients living in the State already. Legalizing cannabis retailers in Boca Raton could help to improve the local economy as new jobs are created. The local deli will sell more black and white cookies alongside the upcoming dispensaries that are likely to start up in the commercial areas of the Florida community.
We will see if Mr. Thomson is successful when there is a full vote by the commission which is currently scheduled for January 28.
I want to know all the ways that WeedClub can help connect legitimate cannabis businesses and customers with information, each other, goods, and tech.
