The majority of us, at some point, have seen Real Estate Property Investing in one form or another. You can watch the numerous flipping programs on HGTV and radio, or listening to an advert for a seminar that is taking place in town, spotting advertisements like the "We Buy Ugly Houses" billboards, or learning stories about slumlords on the news (you do not have the status of a slumlord in order to become a real estate investor in the first place, just to be honest).

If you experience these scenarios and believe it's an excellent idea, you'll likely think, "How would I even get started doing something like that?". I've heard people claim that they don't have the knowledge how to repair their homes or know where to have the time or where to get a bargain.

In reality, you do not need to be familiar with anything about these subjects to begin. All you need to do is start! Does that make sense?

Start by reading blog posts on Vairt and listening to podcasts about the subject of Real Estate Investment, and then reach out to people within your circle, such as realtors, mortgage brokers and even landlords. While you read, watch, and converse with people about investing in real estate You will be able to learn little details here and there which will eventually lead to you being prepared to make your first investment.

I enjoy biggerpockets.com as a reliable resource , thanks to their podcast, blog, and forums. I also like the podcasts Pillars of Wealth Creation, The Real Estate Guys, Wealth Formula, Real Estate Strategies Podcast Cashflow 2, Freedom Podcast and many more.

My top books on real estate investing that I've read are The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller, The Book on Low and No down Investing from Brandon Turner, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki (not so much instructions on how-to investing, but a great resource to think about your perspective in thinking about the relationship between assets and liabilities) and BRRRR Method by David Greene. BRRRR Method by David Greene.

There's a chance that you won't be aware of everything you'll need to know initially (I find myself feeling that I'm never sure how to do things!) But if you take steady steps towards understanding it, you could start your first sale within six to twelve months.

If you need help starting out or asking someone for ideas or asking questions about real investment in real estate, I'm available!
